Where a suitable location for an air cooled condensing unit cannot be found an option could be to remove the heat from the condensing unit by water. This assumes a colling water circuit exists on the site or can be installed.
On large systems the heat rejected into the water can be reclaimed and used to provide heating to areas or facilities.
Benefits include no heat rejection into an area and the possibility of smaller refrigeration systems with a suitable water temperature.
